How it works

Scanned documents, read without uploading them
The most common thing people want from a PDF tool is the hardest one: getting a table out of a scan, where the page is a picture and there is no text to copy. Every site that does this uploads your document to a server to read it. We do it in your browser instead, with an OCR engine that downloads once and then runs on your own machine.
It means a scanned invoice, bank statement, or contract can become a spreadsheet without anyone else ever holding a copy.
Why this exists
The big file-tool sites work, and they also expire your QR codes, bill a year when you thought you picked a month, and make canceling a chore. We built the version where none of that happens, and where the file never has to be uploaded in the first place. Ten tools at launch. Tool eleven gets built when a paying customer asks for it.
