Questions people ask
Will this QR code stop working later?
No. This is a static code: the link is encoded in the pattern itself, so it works as long as the link works, with no dependence on this site. We never deactivate a code you made here, on any plan.
What is the difference from a dynamic QR code?
A dynamic code points at a redirect server so its target can be changed later. That also means it dies if the company behind it turns it off, which is how printed menus and business cards go dead. We only make static codes on purpose.
Is my link uploaded?
No. The code is drawn on your computer by code running in this page. Open your browser's network tab and watch: nothing is sent.
What does it cost?
